Who We Are
Nganyuthe Water Project is a community-based water service provider established to deliver clean, safe and affordable water to the residents of Nganyuthe and its surrounding areas.
Founded over a decade ago, we have grown from a small community initiative to a well-organized water project serving over 1,500 households across 8 administrative zones.
We operate under the oversight of a democratically elected board of management that ensures transparency, accountability and sustainable water service delivery to all our members.

Foundation
Nganyuthe Water Project is established as a community initiative to address the water needs of the community.
First Phase Connections
First 300 households connected to the piped water network across 3 initial zones.
Board Formation
A formal board of management elected to oversee operations and ensure accountability.
Expansion to Zone 6 & 7
Major infrastructure expansion connecting 400 additional households in newly developed areas.
Digital Management System
Implementation of computerized billing and member management system for efficiency.
Zone 8 Expansion
Ongoing expansion to Zone 8 targeting over 200 new household connections.
